Throughout our journey as passionate tasters and roasters, “Raíces Blend” has found its place as a favorite among both traditional coffee lovers and modern and specialty coffee enthusiasts.

It's our first response, tried and tested by everyone. Our inaugural blend is composed of full-bodied, sweet coffees with chocolate notes from the provinces of Loja and Zamora.

Origin: Loja and Zamora.

Altitude: 1400 to 1800 meters above sea level.

Availability: All year round.

Profile: Tasting notes of orange and nuts. Round body, chocolate aftertaste.

The story behind this blend:

A few years ago, during an extended session tasting coffees from different provinces in the Sierra and Amazon, Mario and Juan combined different profiles and defined them as "the roots of our country's good coffee." They cupped and roasted these special lots that capture the essence of the profile that represents Ecuador.

It's a perfect blend to conquer your love for specialty coffee. Experience an extraordinary sensation when you try this coffee; it will always reach its full potential, as it is blended with batches from the most recent harvest. And most importantly, for us as the Huma Team, we never compromise on quality when creating blends. We always select the coffees separately and then blend them to highlight the best of each profile.
