French Press Brew Guide
What do you need ?
French Press , Grinder , 40g of coffee ,
640ml of Hot Water (approx. 96°c),
Spoon, Scale, Timer, Favorite Mug

STEP 1
It weighs 40 g (about 8 tablespoons) of coffee.
Grind the coffee coarsely and add it to your press. A grind
that is not thick enough will leave you
sediment in your final cup.

STEP 2
Set the scale to zero, start the
timer and add your hot water.
___________________________________________________
STEP 3
It's wetting all the spaces,
making sure there are no dry spots left
until reaching 640 g of water

STEP 4
After 1 minute of pouring all the water,
beat in a whirlpool for
10 seconds using a spoon.
Keep an eye on the timer and let it run out.
between 4 and 6 minutes. A shorter extraction will leave you
a cup with brighter acidity and extraction
longer will give you a more bitter and less acidic cup.

STEP 5
When you reach the ideal time for your extraction, crush the
press very slowly until just before reaching the
ground coffee from the bottom of your press.

Pour the coffee slowly to avoid turbulence.
