October has just begun, and we've got our new origin ready, just for you. We'll tell you what you can expect in this distinctive coffee. "4M" comes from the Pichincha Province. With the commitment, quality, and transparency of Finca Meridiano.
A specialty coffee from a farm filled with springs, waterfalls, small rivers, and a view of the beautiful valley landscape. Meridiano is home to a unique coffee owned by Mario Hervas, one of the pioneers of the specialty coffee industry in the Nanegal region. We believe in Fair Trade and environmental stewardship, which is why we always work with people and farms that uphold the same principles, values, and love for Ecuadorian coffee. Huma Origen “4M” is backed by the B Corp certification, which guarantees organizational sustainability, voluntary compliance with high social and environmental standards, and impact measurement.
Huma Origen “4M” is a specialty coffee, an improved typica variety, that undergoes a washed process, which involves depulping the cherries, thoroughly washing the beans, and then drying them. “4M” is unique because it comes from a nanolot with anaerobic fermentation (carried out without oxygen) for 24 hours at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level. Its tasting notes are green apple, dark chocolate, figs, and cinnamon.
